CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE

Suspended 450 feet across and 230 feet above Capilano River, this five-foot wide swinging bridge is not for the squeamish. A short 10 minute drive from downtown Vancouver through Stanley Park this popular attraction has now expanded to include the award winning Tree Tops adventure. Guests can now soar 230 above the river, or 100 feet above the rain forest floor.

GASTOWN Named after "Gassy" Jack Leighton, who opened the first bar here in

1867, this historic area of downtown Vancouver is now home to many trendy restaurants, shops, bars, and nightlife. The area has cobbled streets, interesting lighting, a steam clock, shops and restaurants. It was designated a Provincial heritage site in 1971. Don't forget to check out the unique steam powered clock while you're there.

GRANVILLE ISLAND This farmers market sells fresh food and fish as well as hand-crafts. Live theatre and a local brewery are also located here. Located just across the water from downtown Vancouver guests can take a short, and inexpensive, water taxi ride to the island.

CHINATOWN

Be sure to visit the largest Chinatown on the west coast of North America. Not only can you take in the unique cultural sites and sounds but stop by some of the famous attractions such as the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese garden.
