Continuing coin collectors’ long fascination of kangaroo coin designs we unveil the next edition in our sought-after Kangaroo Series. In 2011 we are featuring the allied rock-wallaby. These marsupials are part of the macropod family, meaning ‘great footed’, and are found mainly in north-east Queensland and on nearby Palm and Magnetic Island.

Glass beading, advanced background polishing and sand blasting are all used to create the impeccable proof fi nish our coins are internationally recognised for.

Our skilled technicians spend many hours identifying the design areas that need to be frosted. Then using a series of pulses, a laser creates the desired fi nish. Once struck, a coin of amazing contrasts of foreground and background images is revealed.

Each coin is then encapsulated and heat-sealed into the themed card awaiting your purchase.
