Degree Program Description
The 90-Unit Master of Divinity is aprofessional degree designed
toenable urban leaders to do Christianministry in localized urban
poor areasin Metro Manila and the major cities inAsia. Our emphasis
is ontransformation and development work,
paired with deeper theological andBiblical reflection for
leaders in urbanpoor ministry, who also do pastoralministry and are
involved in theologicaleducation.
These programs combine communitydevelopment-related
urbantransformation skills with an emphasis
on evangelism and church planting.Students are equipped to
becomemovement leaders by mobilizing andmultiplying teams. The
programsemphasize classroom theorycombined with significant
practicalfieldwork. Students are exposed tothe necessary theory
components but
the majority of their time is spent inurban poor settings
testing thosetheories in the practice of urbanministry.
