    MASTER OF ARTS IN THEOLOGYA 57-Unit Two-Year Degree Program

    Degree Program Description

    The Master of Arts in Theology is aprofessional program for those whowish to pursue a Master's degree intheology. Those who complete theprogram should be able to:

    integrate the Christian faith in thew

    practice of doing theology

    model a life showing an internallywformed biblical holiness

    interpret the Bible adequately andwapply biblical insights to effectholistic transformation within theirown spheres of influence

    develop competencies in doingwtheology.

    All who take the Master of Arts inTheology program must complete 63credit units which include 57 creditunits of core, focus, and elective

    courses, as well as the twoprerequisite courses, WritingAcademic Papers and Introduction tothe Bible , which are 3 non-credit unitseach. These prerequisite courses,however, may be validated.

    The Master of Arts in Theologyprogram will also require thecompletion of a Comprehensive Examand a Masteral Thesis.

    All credit units earned under theMaster of Arts in Theology programmay be credited towards the Masterof Divinity in Theology degree.

    All who take the Master of Arts inTheology program are required toparticipate in at least two Care Group

    sessions and attend the weeklyChapel services during the course oftheir study.
