Kinder Morganplans to breakground late 2017
Kinder Morgan Canada plans to breakground on its newly approved $6.8-bil-lion Trans Mountain pipeline expansionproject in September of next year, thoughpresident and CEO Ian Anderson under-stands there will be obstacles.
Anderson said he expects oppositionto the project and possible legal chal-lenges but said, “I don’t think I’d be sit-ting here today if I didn’t think we couldcontinue on the path to building and ex-ecuting on this project.”
The TransMountain project expects toproduce 15,000 construction jobs, andgenerate $4.5 billion in tax revenue forthe federal and provincial governments.
