The aim of communications for CAMS is to increase awareness, understanding and ultimately uptake of the service. This is in support of the EC’s ambition for the Copernicus programme to stimulate economic growth and jobs and inform environmental policy-making and action through the use of big data.
This means that in addition to what we are doing we must be better at targeting. We increase our focus on audience and sectoral segments, messaging and channels - across media and events in particular.
Despite undeniable success in terms of reach, there is still more we can do to encourage uptake of certain users …
