What's up Boomman? I've been seeing you going super

hard over the last year. Where are you originally from

and how did you become interested in being an artist?

I'm was Born in Riverside California But

Been in ATL since age of 3. So technically

I'm from ATL. I’ve been interested in music

since a young age. I grew up around it so I

can't really pin point the exact time.

You have an interesting name. How did it come about

and what does it mean to you?

Well L.A. is short for my Government name

"LaVour". Boomman came from me selling

things when I was in Valdosta. I use to sell

shoes, t-shirts, Jewelry, socks and a few

other items out the back of my truck. One

day some one made that statement "Bra

be booming them shoes" and some one

else replied "yea that's the Boomman” and

people been calling me that ever since. I

guess it kind of stuck with me.

How long have you been in the business and when did

you decide there was no turning back because this was

something you definitely wanted to pursue?

About 3 years strong now. I new it was no

turning back when I signed K.E. on the

Track. Together we changed the sound of

Atlanta music.

I see you got youtube going crazy with your singles

featuring Roscoe Dash and Waka. How was it working

with them and what's next for Boomman?

It was a cool experience working with both

of them. I knew both of them would be big

by: Knowa Logic


ashley: How did you get your stage

name?Tree High: I was chillin at the studio one day,

when I was young, and I used to be smoked

out. My real name is Trion. One of my home

boys Ross Outlaw said, “Look at Tri. He high.”

So it came to be Tree High.Then in addition I

represent where I stay so it is now Tree High East

Side.How long you been rapping and what

were some of your first songs?

Since I was 9 and I was rapping a lot of that

gangsta stuff cause it was what I liked.

What were some of the artists that you

listened to that influence your style?

Tupac, Snoop, UGK, Scarface, I even liked Jay

Z back then when I finally heard him…it started

really from Hard Knock Life Vol. 2 when I heard

name?Tree High: I was chillin at the studio one day,

when I was young, and I used to be smoked

out. My real name is Trion. One of my home

boys Ross Outlaw said, “Look at Tri. He high.”

So it came to be Tree High.Then in addition I

represent where I stay so it is now Tree High East

Side.How long you been rapping and what

were some of your first songs?

Since I was 9 and I was rapping a lot of that

gangsta stuff cause it was what I liked.

What were some of the artists that you

listened to that influence your style?

Tupac, Snoop, UGK, Scarface, I even liked Jay

Z back then when I finally heard him…it started

Catch me down in Macon, GA during Memorial Day Weekend. Got a show going down there on the 28th. Can’t make it to Orlando but I’m do it big in Macon.
