Alert Mode
When the pager is on and no activity is taking place, the Power Saving screen is displayed. The Power Saving screen displays the pager status indicators.
Press to display the Function menu. Press to move the cursor. Press TURN PAGER OFF is displayed. Press again to turn the pager off.Your pager is now off and the screen displays battery gauge and time and Day of the week and Date.

Using the Function MenuThe Function menu provides access to the many features of your pager through the use of symbols and prompts Press to display the Function menu. When the Function menu is initially displayed flashes to indicate the location of the cursor.
Press or to move the cursor within the Function menu. As you move through the Function menu, the pager function symbols flash to indicate the present location of the cursor. To exit from the Function menu without making any changes press .
Note : Some symbols may not display on your pager, depending upon your pager's features and whether it has messages.

The Message-status screen shows the current status of your messages. For example, unread messages are indicated by a flashing or symbol.The Message-status screen also displays the time and date and any activated pager settings. The Message-status screen can be accessed by pressing , , from the power saving screen.

In low-light conditions, you can manually turn the backlight on or off at any time by pressing and holding for two seconds. The backlight automatically turns off when the pager returns to the power saving screen.
Your pager can receive up to 19 personal messages.

From the Message-status screen press or to move the cursor to the message you want to read. Press to read the message.
When a message is received, your pager alerts according to the current alert setting (audible, vibrate, compound or no message alert). A new message is indicated by a flashing symbol. When a message is selected the symbol changes to , and symbol indicates the message is not selected.
Reading an Incoming Message Press any button to stop the alert. Press to display your message.A in the right corner of the screen indicates the message is continued on an additional screen(s). Press to read the next screen.
Reading a Stored Message
Message Reading Features Press or while reading a message to read the previous or next message.

Note : When an unread message exists, your pager gives a periodic reminder alert until all unread messages are read. A on the screen indicates that you have unread messages.
Note : Previewing an unread message does not remove the unread message status from the message.
Note : As adjust Year, Date, the screen will show the adequate calendar.
Message PreviewThis feature allows you to scan the first line of your messages. Press . Use the and buttons to move the cursor through your messages.
Setting the Time and Date From the Function menu, press to move the cursor to . Press to display the Set DATE AND TIME screen. Press or to move the cursor to the 10th Year digit. Press to adjust the hour. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to adjust the Year, Month, Day, AM/PM/24hr, hours, minutes.

Setting the Alert Pattern
Locking and Unlocking Messages
You can set your pager to alert audible with one of nine alerts (0-8), a chirp alert, continuous alert or a vibrate alert. You can also select no message alert and Compound alert. From the Function menu, press to move the cursor to . Press to display the Set Alert Mode menu. Press or to move the cursor to the desired alert. The pager gives a sample of each alert as you move through the selections. Press to activate your selection. The pager gives a sample of the alert to confirm your selection.
Up to 10 messages can be locked to prevent them from being deleted or from being replaced when memory is full. When a message is locked, the SYMBOL is displayed, when the message is previewed or read indicating the message is locked.
Note : When is displayed on the power saving screen, your pager is in the audible alert mode. (or Compound alert)

Deleting Messages
From the Message-status screen, press or to select the message you want to lock or unlock. Press . Press to move the cursor to lock message, or unlock message. Press .To lock or unlock a message while reading it, follow steps 2 through 4 above while the message is displayed.
This feature allows you to delete unlocked messages.

From the message-status screen, press or to select the message you want to delete. Press . Press to move the cursor to . Press DELETE MESSAGE? is displayed. Press again to delete the message.
Follow steps 2 through 5 above while the message is displayed.

To Delete All Unlocked and Read Messages From the Function menu, press to move the cursor to . Press DELETE ALL? is displayed. Press All unlocked and read messages are deleted.
Pager AlarmYour pager has 12 alarms that can be set for a specific time or a specific time on a daily basis.At the selected alarm time, your pager alerts. If the alarm times pass without being acknowledged, SNOOZE mode will be activated.
To Set an Alarm From the Function menu, press to move the cursor to Press The preset alarm screen is displayed. Press to select one of 12 sets alarms.
Note : Notebook messages are not deleted with this feature.

Press to alarm mode selection, there are disable, every day of the week, everyday and today.Also, press to select the alarm mode, the cursor will move to associate position. Press to the hour digit. Press to adjust the hour. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to adjust minutes, AM/PM.
You can select a time period during which your pager is completely silent. The pager alerts only if an alarm expires.

Note : If the day of the week is the same as today or everyday and today mode, the symbol is displayed.

Your pager is capable of receiving mailbox messages, also known as information services. Mailbox messages are received and read the same way as personal messages and the icon indicators are located on the second row of the display.
Note : If turn ON and turn OFF hour are different, then the Auto ON/OFF mode is activated. And Symbol is displayed.

There are three extra features that we can choose. Pressing and holding for two seconds, the extra features will show up.
Extra Menu :
Press to choose Zoom IN/OUT. Press to choose small or large font. Press or to activate the setting.
If large font is chosen, all new and stored messages including notebook, mailbox messages are displayed in 2-line format. Pager prompts are not enlarged in the Zoom IN mode.
Zoom IN/ OUT:
When this option is enabled, you can set your pager to alert when mail drop messages are received. Pressing and hold for two seconds.

From the Message-status screen, press , or to move the cursor to the personal message you want to move into the notebook. Press Press to move the cursor to . Press STORE NOTEBOOK? is displayed. Press again. The message is now in the Notebook.
From the Message-status screen press , or to move the cursor to the notebook from where you want to delete a message.

Press to display a list of the notebook messages. Press or to scroll through the list until is displayed at the beginning of the notebook message you want to delete.
Press to display the Function menu. Press to move the cursor to . Press . DELETE? is displayed. Press to delete the message. Repeat steps 3 through 7 for each message you want to delete.
Your pager can store up to 19 personal messages inmemory.

Note : Stored messages differ from locked messages. They can be deleted or overwritten when memory is full and a new message comes in.
Note : To prevent specific messages from being deleted, lock them. Then you can delete all other messages you no longer need to prevent the overflow condition.
Note : This symbol display method can be programmed different on the contrary.
If all 19 message slots are full and a new message is received, the oldest, unlocked, and previously read message is automatically deleted when a new message is received. When the message memory is full, MEMORY FULL is displayed.
If your pager has this feature, and if you are outside your paging coverage area, is disappeared. As long as is displayed, your pager can receive messages

Key Click
Duplicate Message
If this feature is enabled, and the pager is in the audible mode, a "click" is emitted when any of the pager's buttons are pressed.
If the same message is received more than once, symbol is displayed at the upper screen. The new duplicate message replaces the older duplicate message and contains the latest time and date stamp.
Error Data IndicatorThe symbol is displayed if a potentially error character is received.
Battery GaugeA battery gauge indicator keeps you informed ofthe battery level.

Cleaning Your Pager

Installing/Replacing the Battery
To clean smudges and grime from the exterior of your pager, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth moistened a mild soap and water solution. Use a second cloth moistened in clean water to wipe the surface clean. Do not immerse in water. Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solutions.
Your pager is designed to operate with a single AAA size alkaline battery (carbon zinc batteries are not recommend). See the diagram on the following page for the battery door location.
To install or replace the battery, hold the pager face down and proceed as follows: unlock the battery door by sliding the door latch away from the battery door. Slide the battery door in the direction that toward the outer edge. Lift the battery door away from the housing to remove it.

Lift the battery out of battery compartment, taking note of the positive (+) and negative (-) markings on the battery and the pager housing.
To install a new battery, reverse the procedure, taking note of the positive (+) and negative (-) markings.
