ATHLETIC TRAINING Undergraduate Athletic Training Student Internships June 2016 USA Baseball Tournament of Stars – June 21-‐26, 2016 (Daily schedule will vary based on supervision; intern needs to be available 7a-‐7p for the duration of the event) July 2016 USA Baseball 14U, 16U, 17U Cups (Daily schedule will vary based on supervision; intern must be available 7a-‐10p for the duration of the event) Criteria: Must have completed one year in a CAATE Accredited athletic training program (The evaluation course completion is preferred) Must be CPR/AED certified Must pass mandatory background check Application: Submit resume & cover letter (including references) Daisy Nelson via email at [email protected] Deadline to apply: March 31, 2016 Interns will be interviewed and selected by April 30, 2016 Responsibilities: Each intern will be supervised by a certified athletic trainer. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: pre-‐practice treatment & field set-‐up, dynamic warm-‐up instruction, practice & game coverage, administration of first aid. Other information: All internships are unpaid. Interns are responsible for their own housing* & transportation to and from the USA Baseball National Training Complex for the duration of each event. *USA Baseball’s Friends & Family hotel rates can be applied.
