Athens Brick CampThe Athens Brick Camp (ABC) started in 2010
when Aimee Millward was training for Ironman St. George.The need
for some early season training made it necessary to travel south
and ride the hills of Athens
County. The perfect long course training brick was developed by
combining the Saturday bike ride with
the Athens Half Marathon on Sunday. This weekend is a great
stepping stone for the CTC Tri Camp,
Triple T, Little Smokies or any other early season race.
Saturday April 12 @ 10AM
The Saturday bike ride starts in the parking lots of Hocking
College, a 3:15 hour drive from downtown
Cleveland. From there we ride over hill and dale following the
route of Toms Trillium Tour. The tour
provides options for distances between 25 and 100 miles. The 58
mile option will be the preferred
choice. After the ride we continue on to Athens to prepare for
the long run on Sunday.

Schedule:
Meet at 9:30AM Roll out at 10AM Drive to Athens for hotel
check-in and packet pick-up. Dinner options are plentiful. If there
is a large enough group we can check on eating together.
