Eastern red cedar only grows in the southeastern U.S. in the whole world. Therefore before people in Europe had access to our eastern red cedar, they would use natural lavender. Therefore Cedar Fresh developed the concept, and invented the process, of infusing natural cedar with natural lavender essence to create a new product - lavender infused cedar. Our natural lavender infused cedar gives you double the freshness.

Cedar Fresh also invented cedar spray and cedar & lavender spray. Our Cedar Power Spray™ and Cedar & Lavender Power Spray™ freshen and renew the aromatics of all cedar wood products. Simply spray on unfinished cedar wood surfaces and allow to dry.

At Cedar Fresh, we have been producing 100% natural cedar and specialty storage products for a quarter of a century. We were the first to create and offer leading natural storage innovations like the cedar ball, a natural alternative to chemical mothballs, and the lavender-infused cedar process, which combines all the natural benefits of cedar with the added fragrance of natural lavender essence.

This year, Cedar Fresh celebrates its 25th anniversary providing green home products, as well as lint removal and kitchen accessories, through national and regional store chains including Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, and others. Just this past year, our natural Cedar essence spray was chosen by San Francisco based Levi Strauss & Co. as the in-store holiday scent for their Levi’s® retail store locations.

Cedar Fresh manufactures and distributes products under its own brand, private label and through exclusive licensing arrangements with leading consumer brands.

At Cedar Fresh, we're committed to doing our part to preserve the environment for future generations. We strive to find innovative ways to not only provide our clients with natural alternatives to chemicals, but also give back to the natural resources that make our business possible.

Our cedar wood blocks, balls, hangers and natural air fresheners are harvested from trees that are plentiful and prolific and grow wild in the eastern and south central US, including Arkansas and Missouri. As the fast-growing and equally fast-spreading trees start creeping into farmlands and become a nuisance, homeowners and farmers are encouraged to harvest the trees instead of destroying them.

We also believe in the importance of supporting the community we all share. A large portion of our cedar products are manufactured and packaged at a non-profit facility that helps developmentally disabled adults gain work experience to achieve independence. From sawing wood to final packing, these adults take great pride in their work.

And in this, our 25th anniversary, we are striving to do more...

We've implemented an environmentally sustainable packaging initiative. In 2008, our packaging was redesigned to be smaller and more compact, in order to reduce waste.

In this milestone year, we want to continue our history of giving back to the natural resources that our business depends on. As part of our "We Give to Green" campaign, we're donating a portion of the sales from one of our leading non-wood products to environmental agencies that restore and renew our nation's forests. A portion of the sales of our Lint Roller XL 90 is being donated to The American Forest Foundation (AFF), the nation's oldest nonprofit citizens conservation organization, founded in 1875, the pioneer of sustainable forestry and urban forestry, and currently the biggest tree-planting conservation organization in the US.
