ATDC’s ‘Rozgar Mela 2015’ fetches jobs to 118 youngsters
Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) Gurgaon, India’s Largest Quality
Vocational Training Provider for the Apparel Industry organized 10 days ‘Rozgar
Mela’ for its students at their Gurgaon Campus. The rozgar mela was organized by
the NHO placement cell of ATDC.As many as 118 skilled youths have been picked
up by various apparel companies at the ‘Rozgar Mela’.152 candidates from 14
different centres of ATDC participated in this mela and 118 of them successfully got
placed.
The rozgar mela witnessed more than 14 top export companies and apparel houses
of Delhi NCR including, B. L. International Noida, Richa Global Exports Pvt. Ltd
Noida, Manesar, Gurgaon Harmany Garment (Satya Paul) Manesar, Paramount Pvt.
Ltd. Okhla, Noida, Ritu Kumar, Gurgaon, Modelama Export Gurgaon, etc.
“ATDC has given a new direction to my life. Coming from a marginalized family, it
was difficult for me to pursue my higher studies. But ATDC helped me and supported
me to realize my dream of studying and working in apparel sector. I have job right
after I finished my training and now I will be able to support my family and live a
better life.” Neha Gupta student of ATDC who got placed in Rozgar Mela.
Shri Hari Kapoor, Vice-Chairman, ATDC Gurgaon, said “We get continuous
feedback about how effective our training courses are from the exporters and others
who recruit them. The fact that they are coming back repeatedly to hire ATDC
trainees make our resolve to do even better”.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Darlie Koshy, DG & CEO, ATDC & IAM said “The
proof of the pudding is in the eating we are particular that the trained candidates get
maximum wage employment which is the litmus test for their employability. Lot of
girls and boys are even willing to relocate away from their habitat in search of a
dependable income. Nowadays many women take up work at home by doing Gotta
Patti etc, which is also part of fashion industry. We are happy more and more

companies choose and prefer ATDC candidates even by those who have in
company or other training centers. ATDC has an integrated approach… skill training
without employment linkage is a futile exercise.”

skilled workforce for the rapidly growing export and domestic sectors of the Apparel

Apparel Sector with around 176 ATDCs including ATDC Vocational Institutes

M/s Paramount Pvt. Ltd. hired 20 students in IE, Quality & Merchandising. Sharing
his experience of recruitment at ATDC T.N Phalahari GM-HR of Paramount said,

is the litmus test for their employability. Lot of girls
and boys are even willing to relocate away from

work at home by doing Gotta Patti etc, which is also part of fashion industry. We are

10 दिवसीय मेले में 118 युवाओं को रोजगार सेक्टर-44के वोकेशनल टे्रननिंग एिंड डडजाइन सेंटर में सोमवार से 10 दिवसीय रोजगार मेला का
आयोजन ककया। इस रोजगार मेला में 152 उम्मीिवारों ने दिस्सा ललया, जजनमें 14 ववलिन्न
किं पननयों द्वारा 118 उम्मीिवारों का चयन ककया गया।
रोजगार मेला में चयननत छात्रा नेिा गुप्ता ने किा कक जीवन को एक नई दिशा िी िै। एक छोटे
पररवार से ि िं और मेरे ललए उच्च लशक्षा प्राप्त करना काफी मुजककल था। प्रलशक्षण समाप्त िोत ेिी मुझ े
जॉब लमल गया। अब मैं अपने पररवार को सिंिाल सकती ि िं और बेितर जीवन जी सकती ि िं।
इस अवसर पर एटीडीसी एिंड आईएएम के मिाननिेशक डॉ. डाललि कोशी न ेकिा की छात्रों को अच्छी
लशक्षा के साथ-साथ उनकी समग्र ववकास का ख्याल रखते िैं। यि िी सुननजकचत करते िैं कक उनकी
लशक्षा प री िोन ेके बाि उन्िें बेितर रोजगार लमल सके। उपाध्यक्ष श्रीिरी कप र ने किा कक रोजगार
मेला में दिल्ली एनसीआर सदित 14 से अधिक शीर्ि ननयाित किं पननयों और पररिान िाउसेस ने िाग
ललया। इनमें बीएल इिंटरनेशनल नोएडा, ररचा ग्लोबल एक्सपोटि प्राइवेट लललमटेड गुड़गािंव मानेसर
िामिनी पररिान, सत्या पॉल मानेसर, पैरामाउिंट प्राइवेट लललमटेड ओखला नोएडा मोडलेामा एक्सपोटि
गुड़गािंव आदि प्रमुख किं पननयािं शालमल थी।

ATDC Organises “Rozgar Mela”
Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) Gurgaon, vocational training provider
for the apparel industry, has organized a Ten-day 'Rozgar Mela' for students at its
Gurgaon Campus. As many as 118 skilled youths have been picked up by various
apparel companies at the 'Mela'. 152 candidates from 14 different centres of ATDC
participated in this mela and 118 of them successfully got placed.
Altogether 14 top export companies and apparel houses of Delhi NCR had picked up
suitable candidates for their organisations from the 'Mela'.

ATDCs Rozgar Mela 2015 Fetches Jobs To 118 Youngsters
Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) Gurgaon, India’s Largest Quality
Vocational Training Provider for the Apparel Industry organized 10 days ‘Rozgar
Mela’ for its students at their Gurgaon Campus. The rozgar mela was organized by
the NHO placement cell of ATDC.As many as 118 skilled youths have been picked
up by various apparel companies at the ‘Rozgar Mela’.152 candidates from 14
different centres of ATDC participated in this mela and 118 of them successfully got
placed.
The rozgar mela witnessed more than 14 top export companies and apparel houses
of Delhi NCR including, B. L. International Noida, Richa Global Exports Pvt. Ltd
Noida, Manesar, Gurgaon Harmany Garment (Satya Paul) Manesar, Paramount Pvt.
Ltd. Okhla, Noida, Ritu Kumar, Gurgaon, Modelama Export Gurgaon, etc.
“ATDC has given a new direction to my life. Coming from a marginalized family, it
was difficult for me to pursue my higher studies. But ATDC helped me and supported
me to realize my dream of studying and working in apparel sector. I have job right
after I finished my training and now I will be able to support my family and live a
better life.” Neha Gupta student of ATDC who got placed in Rozgar Mela.
Shri Hari Kapoor, Vice-Chairman, ATDC Gurgaon, said “We get continuous
feedback about how effective our training courses are from the exporters and others
who recruit them. The fact that they are coming back repeatedly to hire ATDC
trainees make our resolve to do even better”.
