LADIES OF CHARITY MEETING FEBRUARY 1, 2018 – 7:00PM

The Ladies of Charity will meet on Thursday, February 1st at 7:00 pm in the Spiritual Center. For those that can attend, Adoration will be at 6:00 pm in the Spiritual Center with the meeting following. MASS OF REMEMBRANCE AND HEALING Bishop David Zubik will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance and Healing for those affected by drug addiction at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Saint Paul Cathedral in Oakland. All are welcome to attend. This Mass is an opportunity to remember and pray for those who have died as a result of drug addiction and for peace and healing for their families and loved ones. It is also an opportunity to pray with and for those currently struggling with substance abuse. Join Bishop Zubik in praying for all those suffering as a result of the drug addiction that is affecting our communities.

FEBRUARY 2ND CANDLELIGHT MASS Join your neighbors for a monthly Candlelight Mass at Saint Stanislaus Church in the Strip District on Friday, February 2, 2018, the Feast of Candlemas. The Mass will take place at 8:00pm every First Friday of the month. Fr. Brian Welding is the celebrant for this month’s Mass, which will begin with the blessing of candles, and the music will be provided by a chant and polyphony schola. FOURTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME JANUARY 28, 2017

MACKINAC ISLAND & THE MARVELS OF MICHIGAN

Join Nativity Parish on June 20-24, 2018, as we travel to Frankenmuth, Michigan and Bronner's Christmas Wonderland. We will stop at The National Shrine of the Cross in the Woods in Indian River before heading to Mackinac Island for a two night stay. On our way home, we will stop at the Greenfield Village/Henry Ford Museum. The cost is $999.00 per person, double occupancy; $979.00 per person, triple occupancy; and, $1,349.00 per person single. NATIVITY SPIRITUAL CENTER The Nativity Spiritual Center will be offering a variety of programs this Lent. On Monday, February 26 there will be an evening of Taize Candlelight Prayer; There will be a Lenten Morning of Reflection with Eileen Colliani from 9:30-12:30 on Tuesday March 6; Cathy Wray will share a reflection on the Examen Prayer of St. Ignatius on Tuesday, March 13 at 6:30-8:30 and there will be a morning of Reflection on the Women at the foot of the Cross on Tuesday, March 20. In addition, the Spiritual Center is open each Tuesday for prayer and adoration. Appointments for private prayer are also available.
