At OPJMS, students learn very early to focus, prioritize and effectively juggle preparations for the exams and co-curricular activities. Our students take pride in a job well done howsoever small it may be, the school provides a wealth of opportunities to students for extracurricular pursuits. Students find their niche and at the same time enjoy exploring uncharted domains; without being aware of it, a different aspect of their personality emerges and is honed. For the same, school encourages its students to participate enthusiastically by dividing them into six houses. We, the Tagorians, one of those six, with high aims and courage to dream big, reached the zenith, with our hard work and efforts put in with zeal and perseverance, by clinching the Cock-House Trophy the previous year. For stars lie hidden in your Dream deep For every dream precedes the goal Tagorians have always drawn vitality, vigour, passion and heat from the red colour of their house and march forward on the path of success. Our endeavour to learn and chase our dreams is what precedes our glorious success. We have the urge to head forward and charisma to tackle all hurdles that try to disengage us from achieving our goals. Proving our worth in the field of creativity with all our efforts, we are the proud recipient of the second position in the Art Competition. Adding to the pride of the house, Jaideep with his enthusiasm and artistic flair clinched the first position in the middle group in the same competition. Upholding our tradition, we managed to clinch third position in the Hindi Debate Competition. Leaving a glorious trail behind, we again pocketed the third position in English Debate as well, as Sanklap (XII-E) was placed first in the Senior Group.

At OPJMS, students learn very early to focus, prioritize

and effectively juggle preparations for the exams and

co-curricular activities. Our students take pride in a

job well done howsoever small it may be, the school

provides a wealth of opportunities to students for

extracurricular pursuits. Students find their niche and

at the same time enjoy exploring uncharted domains;

without being aware of it, a different aspect of their

personality emerges and is honed. For the same, school encourages its students to

participate enthusiastically by dividing them into six houses.

We, the Tagorians, one of those six, with high aims and courage to dream big,

reached the zenith, with our hard work and efforts put in with zeal and

perseverance, by clinching the Cock-House Trophy the previous year.

For stars lie hidden in your

Dream deep

For every dream precedes the goal

Tagorians have always drawn vitality, vigour, passion and heat from the red colour

of their house and march forward on the path of success. Our endeavour to learn

and chase our dreams is what precedes our glorious success. We have the urge to

head forward and charisma to tackle all hurdles that try to disengage us from

achieving our goals.

Proving our worth in the field of creativity with

all our efforts, we are the proud recipient of

the second position in the Art Competition.

Adding to the pride of the house, Jaideep with

his enthusiasm and artistic flair clinched the

first position in the middle group in the

same competition.

Upholding our tradition, we managed to clinch third position in the Hindi Debate

Competition. Leaving a glorious trail behind, we again pocketed the third position in

English Debate as well, as Sanklap (XII-E) was placed first in the Senior Group.

Maintaining the dignity of the ideals of Rabindranath Tagore, the reverend poet, we,

the Tagorians, came up with flying colours by standing first in the Poem Recitation

Competition. Jayata of Tagore House significantly contributed to this magnificent

feat by securing first position in the competition.

The tagorians held aloft the flag of their house in the field of sports too by securing

first position in the Junior Group Basket Ball after outflanking their opponents in a

cut-throat-competition.

Reposing their staunch belief in their sporting prowess, we stood second in the

Table Tennis and Badminton matches.

Tagorians believe that new challenges must be accepted to feel the exhilaration of

success which comes when preparation meets opportunities – whether we win or

lose, we always do our best. Tagorians participated enthusiastically and displayed

their aesthetic talent in the Rangoli and Cookery Competitions.

Tagorians did not even lag behind in Science and Research. We made our presence

felt in Science Working Model Competition through our commendable efforts and

stood second. Not flinching from our efforts, we successively maintained our place

in the top list. Science drama gave us an opportunity to present the talent of our

stars as we bagged third position in the competition.

All that we have achieved till now would not have been possible without the

dedicated and selfless efforts of our teachers including Mrs. Shivani Dhingra, Mrs.

Sushma Kundu, Mrs. Sharu, Mrs. Gurbeer, Mr. Ashok Hooda and Mrs. Anusuya and

especially our House warden, Mrs. Sunita Khatta, who was a constant support to us.

The valuable team work of our prefects Shruti Gupta, Sanklap, Vikas and Rasika

adds to the strong support system.

Tagorians continue their glorious march keeping in mind Shakespeare’s words,

‘There’s a tide in the affairs of men which taken at flood, leads to future’.
