Stewardship / Colecta semanal“…proclaim the word, be persistent whether it is convenient or incon-venient...” (2 Timothy 4:2) It is not always convenient to be a good steward, especially when all the temptations of our busy and materialistic world get in the way. Now add our own pride and ego into the equation and living a stew-ardship lifestyle may be downright uncomfortable! Remember, God didn’t call us to be comfortable. He called us to be faithful.

ALL SOULS DAY MASS Msgr. Francis Malone, JCL, PA, will celebrate the annual All Souls Day Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock at 9:30 a.m. on Satur-day, November 2. After the Mass, he will lead a procession through the cemetery praying the rosary and blessing graves. Mental Health Support Group The St. Dymphna Society is a peer support group for people living with mental illness. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month at St. John Catholic Center. Mass is celebrated at 6:00, and the meeting directly follows. If a priest is not available, we pray the Rosary or hold a prayer service. For more information, call Rebecca Cargile at 664-0340 ext. 355. No reservations are necessary, and all are welcome!

The Fall 2019 Campaign of 40 Days for Life You’re invited to stand and peacefully pray during a 40-day vigil in the public right-of-way outside Little Rock Family Planning at #4 Office Park Drive LR AR, and also to help spread the word about this important community outreach. Good Counsel’s next day will be Monday, October 28th, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The sign-up sheet is in the vestibule of the church.
