Problem• Allow astronauts to take pre-mission

simulations with them on the mission.• Obtaining a best case solution to a given

scenario efficiently and quickly through the simulator.

• Exposing students to the types of scenarios that astronauts would be exposed to (Without sending them all to cape Canaveral).

Results Used to Create Hybrid- Digital Physical

system for geological exploration. Used to optimize critical missions

parameters through real time geographical simulation and mission dynamics.

Physics engine integrated for better simulations in geological surfaces.

Significance and Use Significance: By allowing software to

derive the best course of action the Astronaut can focus on other more pertinent information.

Use: Can be used by astronauts prior to and during the actual mission. Could also be used in classrooms for educational purposes
