Barry Twp: Proposal 1 Fire Millage Shall the previous voted increase in the 15 mill tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general Ad Valorem taxes within Barry Township be renewed up to 2.0000 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of 2020 through 2023 inclusive for Fire Protection and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby, raising in the first year an estimated $260,000.00. Barry Twp: Proposal 2 Police Millage Shall the previous voted increase in the 15 mill tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general Ad Valorem taxes within Barry Township be renewed up to 2.0000 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of 2020 through 2023 inclusive for Police Protection and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby, raising in the first year an estimated $260,000.00.
Carlton Twp:
CARLTON TOWNSHIP FIRE PROTECTION MILLAGE
Shall the expired previous voted increases in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Carlton Township, of 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 1.4925 mills ($1.4925 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at and increased up to the original voted 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for 4 (four) years, 2020 through 2023 inclusive, for the purpose of providing fire protection within the township, raising an estimated $117,000.00 in the first year the millage is levied, of which a portion will be disbursed to Freeport Fire Association, Woodland Fire Association, and BIRCH Fire Department?
Hope Twp:
PROPOSAL FOR RENEWAL OF THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT MILLAGE
“Shall the previously expired voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Hope Township of 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 0.944 mills by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at and increased up to the original voted 1 mill ($1.00 of $1,000 taxable value) and levied for 4 years, 2020 through 2023 inclusive, for the purpose of road repair, maintenance and operations expenses, raising an estimated $137,765 in the first year the millage is levied”?
FIRE PROTECTION AND CEMETERY MILLAGE RENEWAL
“Shall the previously expired voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Hope Township of 1 mill - .75 mill for Fire Protection and .25 mill for Cemetery ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 0.944 mills by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at and increased up to the original voted 1 mill ($1.00 of $1,000 taxable value) and levied for 4 years, 2020 through 2023 inclusive, for the purpose of fire protection and cemetery maintenance, thereby raising an estimated $137,765 in the first year the millage is levied”? Irving Township:
FIRE PROTECTION MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL 1.4566 MILLS FOR 6 YEARS Shall the previously voted increase in the 15 mill tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed on taxable property within Irving Township under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution of 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value), as reduced to 1.4566 mills ($1.4566 per $1,00 of taxable value) by required rollbacks, be renewed at 1.4566 mills ($1.4566 per $1,000 of taxable value) for six (6) years, 2021 through 2026, inclusive, to provide funds for fire protection purposes, and shall Irving Township be authorized to annually levy such 1.4566 mills ($1.4566 per $1,000 of taxable value) for said purposes, raising an estimated $199,039 in the first year the millage is levied? All or a portion of the revenues from this millage will be disbursed to the Freeport Rural Fire Association, BIRCH Rural Fire Department, and Thornapple Township Emergency Services or other entities pursuant to contracts for fire protection services within Irving Township.
Johnstown Township:
RENEWAL OF FIRE PROTECTION APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT MILLAGE
Shall the previously voted increase in the tax rate limitation for Johnstown Township be renewed and levied on all taxable property in the amount
of 0.7882 mill ($0.7882 per $1,000 of taxable value), subject to reduction as provided by law, for the years 2020-2023, both inclusive?
This proposal is for renewal of a previously authorized millage to provide for the acquisition, operation and maintenance of fire protection apparatus
and equipment including, but not limited to, fire and rescue vehicles for the Township at the same rate levied in 2019. If approved, it is estimated
that the levy of 0.7882 mill will provide revenue of $84,845 in the first calendar year of the levy.
The tax revenue received by the Township will be disbursed to the Township of Johnstown.
Maple Grove:
DUST CONTROL AND ROAD MAINTENANCE RENEWAL MILLAGE Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Maple Grove Township, of 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) be renewed at 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for four years, 2020 through 2023 inclusive for the purpose of providing Dust Control and Road Maintenance, raising an estimated $45,000 in the first year the millage is levied? Maple Grove:

Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan constitution in Maple Grove Township, of 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) be renewed at 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for four years, 2020 through 2023 inclusive for the purpose of providing Fire Department Equipment, Ambulance Department Equipment, maintaining equipment and housing and operating same, raising an estimated $45,000 in the first year the millage is levied? Orangeville Twp. Fire Equipment Millage:
PROPOSAL FOR RENEWAL OF FIRE EQUIPMENT MILLAGE
“Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Orangeville Township, of up to 0.75 mills ($0.75 per $1,000 of taxable valued) and levied for five years, 2022 through 2026 inclusive, for the purposes of purchase of fire equipment and apparatus, raising an estimated $120,121 in the first year that the millage is levied? This millage becomes effective when the current millage expires in 2021.”

RUTLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP MILLAGE PROPOSAL FOR PUBLIC ROAD MAINTENANCE/IMPROVEMENT
Shall the authorized charter millage of Rutland Charter Township be increased by up to 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for five years, 2020 through 2024 inclusive, on all taxable real and personal property in the Township for disbursement of such new additional millage to Rutland Charter Township for the purpose of maintaining and/or improving public roads in Rutland Charter Township, which 1.0 mill increase and levy will raise an estimated $158,814.25 in the first year the millage is levied?” Thornapple Twp.:
THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP
EMERGENCY SERVICES MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL
Shall the previously voted increase in the constitutional tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes in Thornapple Township, Barry County, Michigan,
of 1.75 mills ($1.75 per $1,000 of taxable value), as reduced to 1.7169 mills by the required rollbacks, be renewed at 1.7169 mills ($1.7169 per
$1,000 of taxable value) and levied upon taxable property annually for four (4) years, 2020 through 2023, inclusive, for the purpose of providing
fire protection and emergency services and funding the purchase of fire and emergency equipment, and shall the Township annually levy such
millage on all taxable real and personal property for said purpose, raising in the first year an estimated $578,000?
Delton School Millage:
DELTON KELLOGG SCHOOLS OPERATING MILLAGE PROPOSAL This proposal will allow the school district to continue to levy the statutory rate of not to exceed 18 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law, required for the school district to receive its full revenue per pupil foundation allowance and restores millage lost as a result of the reduction required by the Michigan Constitution of 1963. Shall the currently authorized millage rate limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law, in Delton Kellogg Schools, Barry and Allegan Counties, Michigan, be renewed by 18.0052 mills ($18.0052 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 5 years, 2021 to 2025, inclusive, and also be increased by .5 mill ($0.50 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 5 years, 2021 to 2025, inclusive, to provide funds for operating purposes; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and 18 mills are levied in 2021 is approximately $3,174,000 (this is a renewal of millage that will expire with the 2020 levy and the addition of millage which will be levied only to the extent necessary to restore millage lost as a result of the reduction required by the “Headlee” amendment to the Michigan Constitution of 1963)?
