regeiments existed. For example in
the 1830s & 40s Maryland had one
regiment that conisted of only two
companies. Thin underside silk
beneth the straps due to age but
underside padding and silk beneath

broken causing that part of the gold cord to be loose.

1829, with no particular pattern prescribed; probably very similar to these. In good condition. No buttons.

H59. $1,300. Above and left: Civil War epaulettes and embroidered cap
insignia. All in excellent condition. From Junius W. MacMurray. 2d Lt 1st
Missouri Light Artillery June 10, 1861, Captain November 1, 1863. Mustered out
July 20, 1865. Brevet major and lt col of Volunteers. Entered Regular Army, 5th
US Artillery, February 1866. Rose through the ranks, promoted to major, March
8th, 1898. Includes photocopy of memorial with two-page biography.

H102, $800. Set of US Army surgeon’s epaulets (above) in original tin carrying case (shown below). Case
marked, “RIDABOCK & CO FORMERLY BAKER & MCKENNEY 141 GRAND ST. NEW YORK.” In the
case is a lock of hair, presumably the doctor’s or his wife’s.

H109, $350. Collection of 28 metal chevrons worn on jungle fatigue shirt pocket flap in Vietnam, 1967 in the 1st
Cavalry Division (Airmobile). This is average cost of $12.50 each.
H110, $40. Circa 1905. US War Veteran cap with embroidered eagle for Mass post 52. In good shape with moth
hole on crown as shown. Very small moth holes around the back. Crown marked: D. Klein & Bros, Philadelphia.
