İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa was established as a new univer-sity in 2018 by separation from İstanbul University.

There are 33161 students in our university, which has campuses in eight different locations in Istanbul.

The registrations of the candidates who are admitted to faculties and vocational schools of İstanbul University-Cer-rahpaşa with the results of the relevant year’s exams - such as Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), External Transfer Exam (DGS), Examination for Foreign or Overseas Students (İÜCYÖS, İÜYÖS, SAT 1, ACT, ABITUR, French Bac-calaureate, Austrian Matura, IB, GIB, People’s Republic Of China, TRNC Citizens), Türkiye Scholarships -are carried out according to the principles stated in the Registration Guide that is prepared and publishedevery year before the registration period.

STUDENT DORMITORIES

CELALETTİN TÜFEKÇİSTUDENT DORMITORY

Our dormitory is located in the Yedikule ne-ighborhood of Fatih District as a single bu-ilding and has been serving male students of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine since the 2018/2019 academic year. Hot water, laundry and internet services are available 24/7. Each floor has a kitchen, bathrooms and toilets, and study halls and lounges are also available. The dormitory is within the walking distance to Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. Our dormitory is a one-block bu-ilding with a capacity of 42 people.

The building was built as a dormitory by Celalettin Tüfekçi, a former bureaucrat who served as president of the Van Foundation.

GÜNER CİNER ÖZDEMİR STUDENT DORMITORY

Our dormitory is a single block building located in the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Me-dicine Campus and has a capacity of 76 students. Hot water, laundry and internet services are available 24/7.Each floor has a kitchen, bathrooms and toilets, and study halls and lounges are also available.

15 TEMMUZ ŞEHİTLERİSTUDENT DORMITORY

15 Temmuz Şehitleri Dormitory provides services for female students in 2 blocks at İstanbul University-Büyükçekmece Cam-pus. The dormitories have a capacity of 265 people and each room has its own toilet and bathroom. Hot water, laundry and inter-net services are available 24/7.Each floor has a kitchen and study rooms for common usage. Additionally, there are study desks in every room.
