Assistant Human Resources Officer - Educational
ServicesDepartment
Reporting to the Coordinator for Pre-School Education, the
appointee will be involved in the human
resources administration and daily operations of the department
with primary responsibility to serve
the needs and requirements of the Pre-School Education
Services
Duties:
Carry out all-round HR functions including but not limited to
recruitment, leave administration,
payroll, training and development, disc ipline and grievances,
as well as termination
Prepare contracts and other HR related documents
Assis t in ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The
Salvation Army
Diploma in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Familiar with relevant Ordinances, relating to employment and
education
Strong PC skills in using MS Office and web applications
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese,
including Putonghua
Sound skills in translation (English to Chinese and vice
versa)
Conducts him/ herself in a confidential and professional manner
at all time
Multi-tasking, Self-motivated, detail-minded, independent, able
to work under pressure and
meet deadlines
A team player with good interpersonal, communication, and
problem solving skills
Immediate availability is preferred
Terms of Appointment
Appointment will be on contract terms for 1 year.
