Eremo delle Carceri, immersed in a dense green oak forest and the peaceful Monastery of San Damiano (both to be reached by minivan*). Visit of the Basilica di S. Maria degli Angeli, precious guardian of the tiny Porziuncola, the most sacred of Franciscan sites.
