1) Draw a block diagram; it does not have to be elaborate, just clear, showing the physical features

of the area of inspection, adding work-flow and work processes, or other significant informationas you proceed with the inspection for the class to follow along.

2) Develop an inspection checklist (it is quite permissible to use existing checklists from web sites,

Ontario Ministry of Labour, CCOHS etc.), inspection hazard reporting forms and a job hazardanalysis reporting form, using course materials as examples and then tailoring it to yourparticular area.

3) Once all the inspection forms are completed, develop your findings for presentation to the class.

Occupational health and safety legislation and guidelines should be thoroughly applied. You may

also incorporate research findings. Your presentation should discuss the hazards and unsafeconditions identified on the checklist, inspection hazard reporting forms and job hazard analysis
