    Simplified Assessment Objectives

    AO1 - Develop

    Developideas based on information you have gathered from

    looking at the work of others

    Look at the work of other artists and cultures

    Include personal responses, both visually and verbally

    Collect primaryresearch (first hand objects, visits, drawings,

    photographs etc.)

    Collect secondary research (magazines, internet books etc.)

    contextual sources

    Produce transcriptions and responses (own versions linked to

    project) of artists work in relevant media.

    See the work of others in galleries exhibitions or museums

    AO2 - Experiment

    Experiment and choose appropriate resources

    Include a range of media, materials, techniques and

    processes

    Use art materials and equipment to generateideas

    Review, modify and refine your work as it develops.

    Plan your work and ideas.

    Annotate and evaluate the processes (at all times) to informyour further development towards your final outcome.

    AO3 - Record

    Recordobservations and ideas which are appropriate to your

    project and ideas (both visually and verbally)

    Include primarydrawings, photos, manipulated photos and

    annotations.

    Reflect upon your work (what has/hasnt work worked?...why,

    where is you project going? ) and demonstrate progression (what

    are you doing next?...why?)

    Document and record your ideas (step by step)

    Present your findings from research and related sources.

    AO4 - Present

    Presentpersonal, informed and meaningfuloutcomes from

    your research and development work.

    Use the information gathered from your research and

    development work to create a personal outcome (final piece).

    Demonstrate your understanding and realiseintentions.

    15 min TASK:

    1) Go to the blog (obafineart.blogspot.co.uk)

    2) Go to the 18th February 2013 - UNDERSTANDING THE ASSESSMENT OBJECTIVES TASK

    3) Using the information you have just learnt about the Assessment

    Objectives and in your groups decide which grade order you think they

    belong.

    4) On the scrap paper, write down notes as to why you think they fit into

    that order - you will use these notes at the end to discuss the work as a

    whole class

    - You have 10 minutes to get this done- We will have 5 minutes to discuss as a group
