Tank Based Livelihoods Study

Quantified the benefits from the tank for a period of the past three years

Income from agriculture (quantified based on the gross income i.e including the input costs). Silt application and other heads would form a part of agriculture and need not be dealt separately.

Agricultural labour (quantified based on the number of days x number of people x rate)

Livestock quantified based on the sale of milk (in case of dairy), sale of animals (in case of meat) – this is gross income

Fisheries (quantified based on the gross income from the sale of fish)

Others would include the gross income earned by stakeholders like pot makers, toddy tappers, service providers etc
