3. FINISH FLOOR ELEVATIONS ARE TO TOP OF CONCRETE, UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE STIFFENERS, BRACINGS, BACKING PLATES AND SUPPORTING BRACKETS REQUIRED FOR THE PROPER
INSTALLATION OF ALL CASEWORK, TOILET ROOM ACCESSORIES, TOILET PARTITIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT.
5. ALL RECESSED CABINETS, PANELS, BOXES, ETC. LOCATED IN FIRE-RATED PARTITIONS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A MANNER WHICH MAINTAINS
THE FIRE-RATED CONSTRUCTION.
6. GPC SHALL COORDINATE ALL PLUMBING, HVAC AND ELECTRICAL FLOOR, ROOF, AND WALL SLEEVES AND ALL MECHANICAL SHAFTS WITH ALL
OTHER TRADES DRAWINGS.
7. REFER TO PLUMBING, HVAC AND ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS DRAWINGS AND MANUFACTURERS TEMPLATE DRAWINGS FOR ALL MECHANICAL
AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS, BOLT SETTING TEMPLATES, ISOLATIONS, SPRING ISOLATION, ETC.
8. ALL DRAWINGS ARE OF EQUAL IMPORTANCE IN DEFINING THE WORK OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. CONTRACTORS SHALL CAREFULLY
STUDY AND COMPARE ALL DRAWINGS DURING THE BIDDING PERIOD AND BEFORE INSTALLATION OF THEIR WORK. ANY INCONSISTENCIES IN
THE DRAWINGS SHALL BE REPORTED PROMPTLY TO THE ARCHITECT FOR CLARIFICATION.
9. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS. THE DRAWINGS ARE NOT NECESSARILY TO SCALE - USE GIVEN DIMENSIONS. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL
CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS AT THE PROJECT SITE PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION. ANY INCONSISTENCIES DISCOVERED BY THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REPORTED PROMPTLY TO THE ARCHITECT FOR CLARIFICATION BEFORE COMMENCING THE WORK.
10. THE EXISTING BUILDING INFORMATION INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING, DEPICTED
IN THESE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ARE BASED UPON EXISTING BUILDING DRAWINGS PROVIDED BY THE OWNER. THE
ARCHITECT/ENGINEER MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS OF THE
ORIGINAL DRAWINGS. THE ARCHITECT HAS UNDERTAKEN LIMITED FIELD VERIFICATION OF THE EXISTING BUILDING INFORMATION. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF EXISTING CONDITIONS.
11. CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE BUILDING AREAS OF WORK AT END OF EACH WORK DAY. PROVIDE ENCLOSURES AT EXTERIOR PENETRATIONS
AND OBTAIN CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE APPROVAL ON METHOD OF SECURING PENETRATIONS. EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT SHALL BE
SECURED AT END OF EACH WORK DAY.
12. CONTRACTOR MAY UTILIZE SPACE DELINEATED BY CONSTRUCTION LIMITS EXCEPT WITHIN TREE PROTECTION AREA. THE CONTRACTOR IS
RESPONSIBLE TO REPAIR, RESTORE OR REPLACE ALL SITE ELEMENTS DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE SITE ELEMENTS INCLUDE BUT
ARE NOT LIMITED TO GRASS, CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, CURBS, ASPHALT, MARKINGS, SIGNAGE, MANHOLES AND ELECTRICAL APPARATUS.
13. CONSTRUCTION STORAGE, STAGING AND PARKING IS LIMITED TO CONSTRUCTION LIMIT.
14. COORDINATE STAGING WITH CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE.
15. AREAS WITH LIMITED ACCESS, THE ACCESS SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE IN A MANNER TO MAINTAIN SAFE
OCCUPANCY OF BUILDING.

WHEN RECESSED AND WITH
COMPRESSION FITTINGS). ONCE WIRING
IS INSTALLED, THE WIRING SHALL BE
SURROUNDED BY A ONE INCH BARRIER
OF SILICONE CAULKING AROUND THE
CONDUCTORS WITHIN THE DEVICE BOX
HUB. NON-RECESSED CONDUITS ARE
THEN REQUIRED TO BE THREADED RGS.
THIS PREVENTS THE PASSAGE OF AIR
THROUGH THE ELECTRICAL
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS.
NEW FIRE ALARM DEVICES SHALL BE
COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING NOTIFIER
SYSTEM.
