Publications and Presentations

2005 - 2013

BackgroundIn addition to their core servicing roles ASPIRE Sport Science staff have been actively involved in applied

sport science research aimed at maximizing the performance of ASPIRE programs and athletes. To

follow is a comprehensive list of peer reviewed scientific journal articles and presentations made at

international scientific conferences by ASPIRE Sport Science staff. For clarity of impact and

involvement, the listed journal articles have been divided into two categories:

1. Research commissioned and lead by ASPIRE staff generally utilizing ASPIRE resources (i.e. staff,

athletes, equipment, facilities etc.) (ASPIRE Research), and

2. Research conducted with external partners where ASPIRE hasn’t necessarily led the research

but has made a significant contribution to its conduct (Collaborative Research)

Conference and posters presentations by ASPIRE staff are also listed.

These publications and presentations strongly support the ASPIRE Academy of Sports Excellence

visions of being a leading sports institute in the world which is recognized for state-of-the- art sport

science services.
