InstructorsEach ASI Masterclass presenter is a Transition Leadership practitioner and an expert in their own field who brings their real-world experience to the classroom.

CommunityLearn alongside other value-aligned professionals who share a goal of building a low carbon, socially inclusive economy. The inter-disciplinary collaborative experience and connections made with your cohort are as much part of the Transition Leadership practice as the course material itself. Through the ASI Masterclass in Transition Leadership you’ll join an alumni group that spans the world, and is actively creating the next economy.

FormatThis is an intensive program with an average of 10 sessions over the course of 5 days, with two 3.5 hour sessions daily. The experience consists of readings, guest lectures, collaborative and participatory breakout sessions, and presentations.

Content: Material

Context: Session 1-3Three sessions that help deepen understanding of the challenges ahead. Topics include how to foster experimentation and innovation through design-thinking and systems-thinking, the global drivers for transition, and understanding how financial markets affect the transition to a low carbon, socially inclusive economy.

The Masterclass is broken out into three sections of Context, Case Studies, and Competencies that build on each other, over the course of a week.

Case Studies: Session 4-8Sessions explore the challenges, opportunities and effective case-studies in industries such as energy, technology, transportation, food, water, cities, and infrastructure.

Competencies: Session 9-10Sessions focus on how Transition Leadership skills can affect corporate culture, thrive in entrepreneurial space, and how to implement the mindsets and practicies for creating a low carbon, socially inclusive economy.
