GLOBAL phenolic partitions are the materialof choice where durability and strength arerequired. These partitions are fabricated tostand the test of time. The dense components,combined with stainless steel brackets andfasteners, stand up to the most extremeconditions of moisture and humidity.Phenolic is impact, water, and corrosionresistant, and does not support bacteria.

The phenolic partition is decoratively facedon both sides as an integral part of a resin-impregnated kraft paper core. The surfaceand core sheets are fused at high temperatureand pressure. Doors and panels shall be 1" thick, constructed of two sheets of 22 gauge stainlesssteel. The perimeter shall be sealed with a 22 gauge interlocking molding. Moldingcorners shall be welded to each other and to face sheets and ground smooth to form arigid frame around the component.

a. Floor Anchored Overhead Braced Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick constructed of twosheets of 22 gauge stainless steel. Vertical edges shall be sealed with 22 gaugeinterlocking molding. An inverted stirrup shall be welded within the base of each pilasterwith a jack bolt for leveling during installation and permanent load support. "L" bracketsshall be coupled to the stirrup bracket and floor for full range adjustment.b. Floor Anchored Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick, constructed of two sheets of 18 gaugestainless steel. Stretcher-leveled quality galvannealed steel, formed and bonded under pressure witha non-toxic adhesive to a resin-impregnated, sound deadening honeycomb core.Hybrid resin powder which is electrostatically charged, is sprayed onto the surfacethen heated fused in a curing oven into a smooth coating.


Doors and panels shall be 1" thick, constructed of two sheets of 22 gauge steel. Theperimeter shall be sealed with a 22 gauge interlocking molding. Molding corners shallbe welded to each other and to face sheets and ground smooth to form a rigid framearound the component.

a. Floor Anchored Overhead Braced Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick constructed of twosheets of 22 gauge steel. Vertical edges shall be sealed with 22 gauge interlockingmolding. An inverted stirrup shall be welded within the base of each pilaster with ajack bolt for leveling during installation and permanent load support. "L" brackets shallbe coupled to the stirrup bracket and floor for full range adjustment.b. Floor Anchored Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick, constructed of two sheets of 18gauge steel. Vertical edges shall be sealed with 22 gauge interlocking molding. Thetop of each pilaster shall be sealed with 22 gauge interlocking molding. A 11 gaugeslotted stirrup bracket shall be welded in the base of each pilaster. Two 3/8" diametercadmium-plated self anchoring studs anchor the mounting bracket to a concrete floor.c. Ceiling Hung Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick, constructed of two sheets of 18 gaugesteel. Vertical and bottom edges shall be sealed with 22 gauge interlocking molding. A11 gauge slotted stirrup bracket shall be welded to the top of each pilaster. Two 3/8"diameter studs anchor the mounting bracket to overhead structural steel members. d. Floor and Ceiling Anchored Pilasters shall be 1-1/4" thick, constructed of two sheetsof 22 gauge steel. Vertical edges shall be sealed with a 22 gauge interlockingmolding.

a. Door hardware shall be chromium-plated die cast Zamac on all exposed parts andshall be as noted:1. Upper door hinge is recessed and interlocked in door and includes a nylon pin withinthe door. Lower door hinge is recessed in the door and includes mating box, pintle andnylon cams, which provide the bearing surface. The cams are adjustable to allow thedoor to rest at any position within a 270-degree range.2. All concealed latches shall be mounted at mid-point of the door.b. Hardware includes coat hook, bumper, stop and keeper, and all necessary fastenersfor installation.c. Brackets for panel to wall and panel to pilaster attachment shall be chromium-plated die cast Zamac.d. Pilaster shoes shall be of type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish.e. Fasteners shall be of chrome-plated steel; door hinges will be mounted withvandal-resistant through bolts; hooks and handles will be mounted with vandal-resistant full-thread screws.f. Floor Anchored Overhead Braced only - headrail shall be provided to bridge allcompartments. The headrail to be anodized aluminum with satin finish, contoured toprovide anti-grip features.

All components shall be cleaned prior to the application of polyester powder coating.
