What is Global Warming?Global Warming is the theory that the Earth’s ozone layer in the stratosphere is being destroyed by green house gases and pollutants released into the air. This causes more radiation to be entered into Earth’s surfaces which causes warmer weather around the globe.

Did you know?❖Svante Arrhenius, a swedish scientist, was the first to proposed global warming in 1896.❖14 billion pounds of plastic and toxic waste is dumped in the ocean every year.❖About 40% of American lakes are not useable due to toxic waste. ❖About one million birds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed every year from pollution in water. ❖ Global warming began in the late 1800’s.❖ With America making up only 5% of the world, it produces 30% of the worlds waste.❖ In 2010, 85 million tons of material were reused thanks to recycling.Here are some science societies that supports the idea

of global warming.

Our Argument ● Global warming is slowly breaking down our planet Earth.● If you do not want to believe in it then answer, What could possibly come from pollution other

than Earth having a negative reaction from it?● Over the years, climates have changed, glaciers have melted and the extreme cold has become

cool. There is no other answer to the strange behavior our planet is showing. ● Recycling cannot stop global warming completely right away, however it can make a huge

difference. Lets save our planet before it is too late !!
