Select the base rate from the relevant rates table using the Life Insured’s age next birthday, gender and type of cover.

Step 2

Select occupation rating and multiply the Life and TPD rate by the factor listed below.

1. Life and TPD rate – $0.89 per $1,000 sum insured

2. Occupational Loading for Life – 1.00 Occupational Loading for TPD – 1.25 Life rate = ($0.54) x 1.00 = $0.54

TPD rate = ($0.35) x 1.25 = $0.4375

Monthly Premium for Life and TPD = $0.54 + $0.4375 = $0.9775

3. Monthly Premium for Life and TPD = ( 0.9775 x $200,000 ) /12
