ASB General Commissioner Descriptions:ASB Secretary: This position requires lots of organization skills as they would be in charge of keeping the other commissioners organized by using event planning sheets and helping them with timelines of each event. He or she would also take minutes at every ASB General meeting and any other possible meetings.

ASB Treasurer: The Associated Student Body Treasurer is the primary student in charge of all expenses throughout the school. They will work closely with school Accounts Clerk and Activities Director

ASB Club Commissioner: The Club Commissioner is ASBs representative to all clubs offered within the school. They are the link between the two groups. They also insure and encourage all clubs to remain active.

ASB Culture and Rally Commissioner: This person would work alongside other members of leadership to plan rallies, lunchtime activities, and any events inside the school.

ASB Public Relations Commissioner: The Associated Student Body Publicity Commissioner is responsible for increasing school spirit through communications. Through publicizing school events, they can create an atmosphere that the students can feel pride in their school. It is the job of the commissioner to oversee and implement the following: 1) bulletin board displays, 2) clipped and displayed newspaper articles, 3) daily bulletin notices, 4) poster and butcher paper signs, 5) flyers and handouts, etc.

ASB Photography/Videography Commissioner: Commissioner is responsible for recording all of the schools events throughout the year. With the footage taken they are to put together a slide show/video for rallies and other events, also responsible for all ASB related Video making.

ASB Athletic Commissioner: The Associated Student Body Athletic Commissioner is the sole person responsible for representing the Athletic Department to the ASB Student Council. They are also responsible for maintaining the supplies of blocks and emblems accordingly for the end of season award events. It is also the responsibility of the Athletic Commissioner to assist the schools Athletic Director on maintaining accurate and up-to-date awards that are displayed in the gym, locker room, and other places on campus.

ASB Community Outreach Commissioner: The Community Outreach Commissioners job is to bring the events at American closer to the community. The Community Outreach Commissioner does this through newspaper articles (The Voice and The Argus), the AHS Marquee, and contact with various parent and community service groups. This position also includes organizing events such as the Think Pink Walk/Breast Cancer Awareness Week, Anti-Bullying Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Student Appreciation Week.

ASB Master of Ceremonies (2): This position would be in charge of hosting any events that ASB General has inside and outside the school including, but not limited to, lunchtime activities, rallies, and benefit talent shows. You would be working together along with another student.

ASB SAC and Merchandise Commissioner: Primarily, this position would be in charge of making sure the merchandise is being sold properly and that the merchandise room is organized and inventory is up to date. He or she would also be in charge of organizing whatever is sold in SAC by clubs and classes throughout the year.
