8:50 to 9:30 am

All the children and their parents spent 10 minutes at the opening ceremony. After praying, we divided them into groups age accordingly. Usually they have groups at the hospital their nurses use for better managing their systems of taking anti retrovirus medications.

Here Norbert is giving children masks, cape etc before they start to play in groups. The children were so interested to be at this hotel because it so expensive for them to pay and enter the game room there for children.

Joseph( RTWC volunteer) is giving instructions and briefing all children about this event.

He was showing them where they are allowed to go. He was also describing the whole day's activities and welcoming the visitors.

All children and some of their parents were attentive following the presentation, and after, 15 children asked questions on how they are going to apply cooking skills learned from the event training to their homes.

From 10:20 to 12:00

Children went back into their groups to drink Fanta and eat sambusa (meat) as breakfast. Then we started the talent show activity.

This is a great moment to all people who attended our event because this boy who is singing, was known to live with loneliness and he doesn't like to talk with other children. He is singing his own song he wrote in 2014. It was really touching.

Young girls feeling the afrobeat music and dancing together.

This was the best song from Nigeria called Dodo by Devido. I liked it too.

They are 4 children whose have mental problems but the time we tried to approach them, we found they have choked by their histories. They had prayed with others, means that all thing was okay to those children at this time. they respect each other.

CHILDREN WHO DON’T ATTEND THE SCHOOL

They are 30 children who stopped school, 12 because of reduced CD4, immunity diminished. Others 18 missed school fees. In this 18 children, 6 finished high school but no school fees for them to attend university.
