So Cal ASA is proud to introduce the 10th year ofthe Coaches Training Program. The Program isdeveloped and designed to provide softballcoaches of all levels – from beginning coaches toexperienced veterans – an opportunity to further
their knowledge of the sport of Softball.Our clinics are practical guides to the everydaysituations you will encounter as a youth softballcoach. The program utilizes a participation formatto teach coaches how to identify skills of thegame, isolate the players mechanics of the skilland to evaluate and improve the playersmechanics. After attending one of the CoachingSchools, you will be well prepared to coach ayouth softball team .
ASA/ACEASA/ACE CertificationCertificationACE certification is now being offered at eachclinic site. So Cal ASA Staff will administer theACE certification from 2:15pm to 3:15pm followingeach of the Coaching Schools. The cost is $20.ACE certification includes: ACE tests & insurance.
Please note that the ACE is a separate process &fee from the So Cal ASA Coaching Schools. Wehope that you will choose to complete both steps ofthe process.
Clinic Outlines: (sample) All clinics: 5 hours long Including lunch!
Sample topics: hitting, pitching, baserunning,management, age group practice organization,
swing corrections, pitching corrections,detailed team management
Please note: * You do not have to attend your area district clinic. You maychoose to attend another district clinic that best fits into yourschedule.* Anyone may attend the clinics
