Following the decision of the ICU General Assembly on Tuesday 23 April 2019, the ICU is pleased to confirm the following: The International Cheer Union (ICU) hereby recognizes Cheerleading Federation of Hong Kong, China (CFHK) as the National Governing Body for the Sport of Cheer for Hong Kong, China. CFHK is a provisional member of the ICU, and within accordance of the ICU statutes, CFHK is the only ICU National Federation in Hong Kong, China. This status is granted under the conditions of continuous good standing - as acknowledged by the ICU General Assembly and statutes of the ICU. All rights and privileges associated with this honor and distinction will be provided on condition of an ongoing commitment to the ICU ideals and principles of which confirm the inclusive and positive advancement of Cheer in Hong Kong, China and around the World. This commitment is focused on providing benefit and opportunity for our athletes who participate. The ICU continues to look forward to providing structure and safety, as well as balanced input and governance to assist the various stages of development in which our Sport finds itself in many nations across the globe.
