EBITDA is calculated by adding back to net income, income tax expense, depreciation, amortization and interest expense net of interest income

Adjusted EBITDA excludes change in fair value of financial instrument, gain on acquisition of the business, the loss on disposal of assets, the equity income of

CDCP, the non-controlling interests’ share of adjusted EBITDA of WGN and BSL, and depreciation, amortization, interest and taxes of Cineplex’s other joint
