RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Authored a Research paper on ‘CFD Analysis of the Effect of Turbulator Position and Geometry in a Helicoidal Cooling Duct of
a Low Pressure Stage Turbine Blade on Conjugate Heat Transfer’. (December 2014)
Designed an Internal Convection cooling scheme by positioning turbulators in terms of pitch of helicoidal cooling path
in a Low Pressure Stage turbine blade.
Computationally Analysed and Studied the effects of turbulator geometry on conjugate heat transfer in the Turbine
Blade using CFD software ANSYS FLUENT.
Maximized heat transfer from turbine blade to coolant and improved cooling characteristics of the blade.
Paper Accepted at SAE 2015 AeroTech congress & Exposition to be held at Seattle, Washington.
Co-Authored a research paper on ‘Application of CFD Simulation in the Design of a Parabolic Winglet on NACA 2412’.
Presented at IAENG World Congress on Engineering, London, July-2014. (September 2013)
Designed wings with parabolic winglets at different cant Angles.
Computationally Analysed the performance of these winglets in terms of ‘CL’ and ‘CD ‘ and ‘L/D’ ratio.
Co-Authored a research paper on ‘CFD Analysis of a Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) NACA 2412 Wing in High Lift Take-off
Configuration’. Accepted for publication by Aeronautical Society of India’s ‘Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies’.
(december 2013)
Designed a high lift take off configuration wing with partially extended flaps and slats.
Extensively used CATIA V5 for designing and ANSYS FLUENT For CFD Analysis.
Achieved a High value of Coefficient of Lift (CL) as per Target.
