Bikeability 26-30 September 2016

Dear Parents/carers, As you are aware the class will be taking part in ‘Bikeability’ week commencing 26th September. The class will be split in to two groups and sessions will run from approx 9.00am-10.30am and 10.30am-12.00pm. We require one parent helper per session. If you are able to help please come and speak to me. Along with this letter we are sending home a parent/carer information letter and ‘Cycle Right’ magazine which contains the consent form that needs to be returned to school prior to Bikeability week. It would be appreciated if you could encourage your child to read and discuss all material. It is vital that the consent form is completed and handed in to the school office to ensure your child can take part. It is also important that your child has a bicycle at the correct height with working breaks (no BMX bikes, please) and a correctly fitting helmet. The instructors will check the children’s cycle helmets and bicycles to ensure that everything is safe and in road working order. Bicycles can be left at school overnight but must be padlocked at the back of Ichthus class and are left at your own risk.
