ARTUS – GALILEO Professional Receiver Development

Time Schedule: August 2005 – probably May 2008

What are the objectives of ARTUS?

Development of a receiver for professional applications by using all three Galileo frequency bands and the Commercial Service (CS) of Galileo as well as the planned three civil GPS frequencies.

Main activities within the ARTUS project

Investigation of the Core Technologies.

Development of a GALILEO (GPS) receiver prototype.

Development of a GALILEO signal generator for the verification.

Execution of field tests to validate the receiver prototype by using the GALILEO Test- & Development Environment GATE.
