Drawn with your eyes closed? Let’s set our senses loose this week as we explore textures, smells, tastes, and more! Campers will begin each day with a story and yoga in order to practice breathing deeply and with purpose. Moving into dance, we’ll explore the classical techniques of ballet and basic rhythms of jazz. To add to the fun, we’ll get creative with props, dress up, and make believe! Each day will feature a different craft inspired by our movement activity of the day.

When the shooting is done, record an original soundtrack to complete your animation. Final productions will be posted to YouTube for viewing.

Instructor: Meredith HolchClass Dates: One-week camp, July 9 – July 13Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 1-4pm Cost: $150 for 5 daysAges: 10-15Discover the wonders of morphing with stop-motion claymation. Working in a small group, sculpt your own flexible characters with modeling clay. Make 3D sets and create an original storyline featuring transformation. Using a video camera, you’ll shrink, transform, and morph your characters one frame at a time. Finally, record an original soundtrack to complete your video. The finished movies will be posted to YouTube!
