There is limited availability of such books. But with the introduction e-books, students may download any books available on-line, free or thru credit card. A new medium of education

Remember when you are still on your elementary days, you used to carry big and heavy bagpacks containing books for school which are to carried everyday by students. I know all of us suffered that kind of dilemma. As the technology advances, here comes the introduction of the use of tablet pcs and portable book display, which are a handheld device that mimics the traditional reading experience but in a digital and modern way. E-books are read through the LCD display of the device. It is lightweight, compact and may contain numerous books in a single device depending on its capacity which is now endorsed by many academic institutions as a good substitute for our conventional books. Traditional books or e-books which prevail?

The benefits of tablet pcs and portable book display devices are convincing plus the fact that it has the potential to improve learning for students. But there is something e-books cannot replace from the experience of reading a traditional book. The feeling of turning the pages of a traditional book than flipping the pages of an e-book on tablet pcs are irreplaceable. Plus the impact that the traditional books has made in our history, and on our daily lives. It has surpassed the test of time and continuing to change the lives of every reader.

With the introduction of these devices, we are not sure of until when these are available and practical for use now with the fast changes in the technology. There is no such guarantee that these devices may surpass the time and be used after years.

But a book, whether a traditional or an e-book, will lost its value if we will not read and understand the information in its pages. Technology helped improved the way we share information, and its accessibility to us, regardless of the medium used in sharing information, it still dependent on the reader and book owners.
