Fastback

The Arteon offers 563 litres of boot space, and thanks to the optional Easy-Open function, a flick of the foot under the rear of the vehicle is all it takes to unlock the electric hatch. The time-delayed electric closing function means you can close the luggage compartment hatch at the touch of a button, leaving you free to load and unload at your leisure. This function is available when you select the Park Package.

Panoramic sunroof.

At the touch of a button, it easily slides open providing uninterrupted views and flooding the interior with light that creates a generous sense of space. Optional on Elegance.

The Arteon features LED headlights with dynamic range control, a system that automatically adjusts the angle of the low beam to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. On the R-Line, Dynamic Cornering Lights are standard. This feature provides optimal illumination upon entering tight corners and bends, ensuring a safer and more precise driving experience at night.

The intelligent Composition Media infotainment system has an 8.0” touchscreen (standard on Elegance) - while the crystal-clear Discover Pro 9.2” (standard on R-line) colour touchscreen with a premium tablet look and feel will enhance your experience.

Area View provides a 360° display of your Arteon in the infotainment display, transmitting information via four cameras to the front, the sides and the rear – very useful when there is limited space to manoeuvre. Optional as part of Park Package with Area View. Assistance systemsOne of the most useful driver assistance systems Arteon offers, is the Adaptive Cruise Control and “Front Assist” City Emergency Braking (Standard on R-Line). You simply specify your top speed and the system makes sure you don’t exceed it.

Using the data provided, “Front Assist” detects critical situations, such as: if the distance between you and the vehicle ahead is too small and responds by either an audible and visual signal to brake or by providing a jolt to the brakes to indicate an impending collision. Another great feature is the Head-up Display. It presents key driving information directly in your field of vision - information such as: speed, traffic signs, as well as warning and navigation messages are all pushed directly to the high-quality retractable display.

The engine in German engineering.

The Arteon Elegance and R-Line are available with a 2.0 TDI 130kW engine and the 2.0 TSI 206kW engine is available in R-Line guise. The 2.0 TSI 206kW engine offers incredible output (compared to its rivals), 4MOTION® four-wheel drive and XDS electronic differential lock. DCC adaptive chassis control comes standard across the range.

The Arteon R-Line provides a sensory experience thanks to its advanced design features and exclusive materials. The aluminium horizontal air vents stretch the width of the dashboard framing the analogue clock. Ambient lighting in all doors and across the dash with a choice of three colour options creates a soothing and eloquent feel. Its interior boasts black ‘Nappa’ leather seats with ‘Carbon Style’ side bolsters, complemented by contrast stitching and embroidered ‘R-Line’ logo.

The ergoComfort driver’s seat has electric 6-way adjustment and memory and massage functions. The multi-function leather-trimmed steering wheel features the distinctive ‘R-Line’ logo and decorative stitching, and the interior is complemented by the ‘Titan Black’ roof-lining and stylish ‘Silver Rise’ decorative inserts in the dash and door panels. The R-Line design package includes an aggressively styled front bumper with C-signature air curtains in gloss black and the ‘R-Line’ logo proudly mounted on the radiator grille and both side fenders.
