Photography Basic 101: Camera ManipulationLearn how to begin operating a camera like a pro. The course offers intensive hands-on coaching on controlling your camera when creating photographs. Class includes information on such subjects as camera technology, lenses, use of F-stopsand shutter speeds. Also learn the basics of purchasing equipment. Bring an adjustablecamera and all equipment to the first class. Photography Basic 102: LightingWant to know the secret to good photography? It’s LIGHTING! If you can use your SLR camera on manual then come and learn how to manipulate light at any time of day and under any conditions. During this course learn the difference between quantity, quality, and direction of light. Photography Intermediate 203: The Art of SeeingReally good photographers have a special way of seeing. If you are beyond thebasics then this special course is for you. Folsom Arts Association is proud to sponsor “Folsom Focus,” the amateur photography competition that features the faces and plac-es of Folsom. Contestants may enter a total of three photos in their age group (ranging from children to adults) and select from four themes. Prizes are awarded for each theme in each age group.
