I'm an abstract artist selling original paintings, prints and commissions to customers I meet online. 

I stepped away from the corporate world in 2017 and made a full commitment to creating financial freedom as an artpreneur. I was in relentless pursuit of my passion. Turning back was not an option for me. 

Art did not pay the bills at first. And that part was pretty scary (and painful).

But instead of choosing fear, I was committed to working smart and creating a plan. I knew I could leverage my Business and Marketing degree and 10 years corporate experience to succeed.

Each year my art business has grown; 20%, then 48% and 94% in 2020! 

What’s amazing? I actually sold fewer paintings for a higher total profit by focusing on what really matters to grow a sustainable business.

What I need to share with you is, I grew my business in spite of many personal challenges that drained my time and focus. For instance.... my daily chronic disabling migraines that put me in the hospital.   My point is, if I can achieve art financial success, so can you, no matter your circumstances. You deserve it!

PERCEIVED VALUE: -Value - the worth - Perceived value is how the price

determines worth and quality. - “You get what you pay for” - A high price point portrays high value + exclusivity. -Low price portrays low value.

EXPLAINED: - One way you are leaving money on the table is if you are

not considering perceived value - Lets discuss the difference between price/cost and VALUE - Price is what you pay for something - Value is what goods or services pay you i.e. worth. - Value can never be calculated in numbers like price and cost. - Perceived value is how price determines worth and quality. “You get what you pay for” - People associate high prices with high quality. - Selling your artwork for a low price point immediately reduces the perceived value. - Low priced products are believed to be cheap, especially when compared to competitors. - A high price point portrays high value and exclusivity.

IDENTIFY YOUR IDEAL CLIENT EXERCISE: - Imagine a single person you will make up - [if you don’t have clients yet, thats totally okay. This is

a great place to start by knowing who you want to serve!] - Answer the following based on: - Interests, demographics, lifestyle, and personality - this single person will possess a combination of

key aspects from your customer group - Are your raving fans also someone who you love working with? - Does your customer base seem to fit a certain profile or demographic? - You can combine their traits into a single avatar you make up.

Ideal Client Questions:

1. Who is your Ideal Client? Who do you want to work with? 2. Who have you loved working with and been able to get amazing results for? 3. Do you have any raving fans? What does your current customer base have in common?

WHY DOES THE VALUE LADDER WORK?

1. Re-marketing to your audience that you’ve already built a relationship with.

2. Your raving fans will want to invest more from you over time.

3. A customer can enter the value ladder at any step (they can spend what they are willing to spend in that moment, can come back to purchase a high value offer later). You can direct your customer to climb through every stage of your value ladder, maximizing their lifetime value.

4. Enables you to offer up-sells and down-sells from one product to the next. If you only have 1 offer at 1 price point, then you could be leaving money on the table.

5. Visual aid for all the offers in your business - Allows you to make adjustments to your business at any time
