• Music was played for festivities like birthdays weddings and valentines day

• Music was always played for the occasion, for example during weddings people played love songs during birthdays and parties, the music was uplifting.

• Early art in the middle ages was limited to religious paintings, manuscripts, mosaics and frescoes in churches.

• There were no portrait paintings and colors were fairly dull.
