Conclusion: Identifying key structural elements of the projects, we
argue that this kind of paper crafting activity can function
as a transformative investigation providing opportunities
for collaboration and learning among children. The process
of using, creating and questioning through, with and for
the technology inherent to the paper project activities
permitted the children to gain both access to STEAM
knowledge and thereby build creative agency and technical
self-ef cacy.
- Different visualization of the childrens‘ ideas were
constructed (e.g. chalk drafts, Sketch-pads with a pencil,
virtual 3D models)
- Children had to understand how to transfer 2D drafts
into real world represantations
- Challenge to incorporate the circuit without short-
cutting it
- Paper projects promoted a strong sense of aesthetics
among
the participants
- Participants rebuilt their projects over and over again,
until they
were con dent with the appearance
- Aim for the artifacts to sim simultaneously ‚look good‘
and
‚function properly‘
After this wonderful art I feel good and happy because
now it’s enhanced my creativity and give me ideas to
improve it more. And secondly I came to know it easy to
make the flowers.

Occasion jamashtami
Krishna Janmashtami (Devanagari कृष्ण
जन्माष्टमी, IAST: Kṛṣṇa Janmāṣṭamī), also known simply
as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an
annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna,
the eighth avatar of Vishnu. It is observed according to
Hindu luni-solar calendar, on the eighth day (Ashtami) of
the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month
of Shraavana of the Hindu Calendar, which overlaps
with August and September of the Gregorian calendar.
It is an important festival particularly to
the Vaishnavism tradition of Hinduism. Dance-drama
enactments of the life of Krishna according to
the Bhagavata Purana (such as Rasa lila or Krishna Lila),
devotional singing through the midnight when Krishna is
believed to have been born, fasting (upavasa), a night vigil
(jagarana), and a festival (mahotsava) on the following
day are a part of the Janmashtami celebrations. It is
celebrated particularly in Mathura and Brindavan, along
with major Vaishnava communities found in Manipur,
Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh,
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala,
Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and other regions.
Krishna Janmashtami is followed by the
festival Nandotsav, which celebrates the occasion
when Nanda Baba distributed gifts to the community in
honour of the birth.
Occasion :independence day Independence Day is annually celebrated on 15 August, as
a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's
independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August
1947, the UK Parliament passed the Indian Independence
Act 1947transferring legislative sovereignty to the Indian
Constituent Assembly. India still retained King George
VI as head of state until its transition to full republican
constitution. India attained independence following
the Independence Movement noted for largely nonviolent
resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian
National Congress (INC). Independence coincided with
the partition of India, in which the British India was
divided along religious lines into
the Dominions of Indiaand Pakistan; the partition was
accompanied by violent riots and mass casualties, and the
displacement of nearly 15 million people due to religious
violence.
On 15 August 1947, the Prime Minister, Jawaharlal
Nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori
Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. On each subsequent
Independence Day, the prime minister customarily raises
the flag and gives an address to the nation.
The holiday is observed throughout India with flag-
hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. There is a
national holiday, and schools and government offices
distribute sweets, but no official work is done.

Teacher's Day is a tribute to the hard work

Indian Teacher's Day is dedicated India to

greatest scholars and teachers of all times,
apart from being the first Vice President and

Diwali celebration
Date 18th October 2017
Occasion: Diwali celebration
Diwali or Deepavali is the Hindu festival of lights
celebrated every year in autumn in the northern hemisphere
(spring in southern hemisphere). It is an official holiday
in Fiji, Guyana, India,Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Ne
pal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Suriname, and Trinidad and
Tobago. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it
spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good
over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
Its celebration includes millions of lights shining on
housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples
and other buildings in the communities and countries
where it is observed. The festival preparations and rituals
typically extend over a five-day period, but the main
festival night of Diwali coincides with the dark night of
the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika in Bikram
Sambat calendar (the month of Aippasi in Tamil Calendar),
on the 15th of the month. In the Gregorian calendar,
Diwali night falls between mid-October and mid-
November.
Before Diwali night, people clean, renovate, and decorate
their homes and offices. On Diwali night, people dress up
in new clothes or their best outfits, light up diyas (lamps
and candles) inside and outside their home, participate in
family puja (prayers) typically to Lakshmi – the goddess of
fertility and prosperity. After puja, fireworks follow, then
a family feast including mithai (sweets), and an exchange
of gifts between family members and close friends. Diwali
also marks a major shopping period in nations where it is
celebrated.
The name of festive days as well as the rituals of Diwali
vary significantly among Hindus, based on the region of
India. In many parts of India, the festivities start
with Dhanteras (in northern and western part of India),
followed by Naraka Chaturdasi on second day, Diwali on
the third day, Diwali Padva dedicated to wife–husband
relationship on the fourth day, and festivities end
with Bhai Dooj dedicated to sister–brother bond on the
fifth day. Dhanteras usually falls eighteen days
after Dussehra.
On the same night that Hindus celebrate
Diwali, Jains celebrate a festival also called Diwali to
mark the attainment of moksha by Mahavira,
Sikhs celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas to mark the release of
Guru Hargobind from a Mughal Empire prison,
and Newar Buddhists, unlike the majority of Buddhists,
celebrate Diwali by worshipping Lakshmi.
