Cubism-painting, in which perspective with a single viewpoint was abandoned and use was made of simple geometric shapes, interlocking planes, and, later, collage

1. Popart-art based on modern popular culture and the mass media, esp. as a critical or ironic comment on traditional fine art values.

Parallelism art-Lines that are parallel run in the same direction, the same distance apart. Two lines that are parallel never meet, never cross over one another.

Abstract art-art that does not attempt to represent external, recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures
