Step 1: Take a picture of my “family tree”
Step 2: Draw cartoon tree

Step 3: Find “Goodwill clothes,” cut, roll and glue
Step 4: Collect old newspapers, cut and weave
Step 5: Collect wood for wooden frame, cut and nail
Step 6: Staple foam board w/ newspaper weaving to the wooden frame
Step 7: Place fabric roses, then hot glue them to the weaving
Step 8: Done!
Interesting details
● I decided to make roses to symbolize my
Grandma Rosemary, aka Rose
● I used shades and tints of blue mostly because
that was my Grandma’s favorite color
● That the clothes were actually from my family○ I didn’t go out and buy clothes
