Arrowhead in the Community | 2016
ArrowHeart FoundationThe ArrowHeart Foundation is a community service
effort established by Arrowhead Credit Union in 2013.
Through ArrowHeart, our purpose is to give back to the
communities we serve.
Financial EducationOur Money Mentor program grew in 2016. We held more
than 83 Financial Workshops for local schools
and organizations; educating children, young adults, and
adults on being responsible with their money, and saving
for future goals.

2016 Believe WalkSupporting local cancer programs energized our 124
volunteers to raise funds and walk together at the
9th Annual Believe Walk.
Team members hosted their own fundraisers,
collecting more than $9,500, becoming
the third largest corporate fundraising team!
Diaper DutyWhen homeless families need help with basic needs, even
the smallest donation can make a big difference.
We partnered with HomeAid Inland Empire to help care
for infants and young children living in local shelters by
collecting more than 20,000 items –
including 6,000 diapers, 14,000 baby wipes, and other
basic necessities.

volunteers placed American flags at the graves of
more than 250,000 Veterans buried at
Riverside National Cemetery.
Together with our families, we helped display a flag at the

Red Nose DayOur team got seriously silly about making a difference for
kids on Red Nose Day.
Red Nose Day is a global campaign
to raise awareness and money for impoverished children
across the world.
Kind is the New CoolWhether it’s handing out an umbrella on a rainy day or
delivering bagels for the nurses and staff at local
hospitals, we love bringing a smile to someone’s day with
random acts of kindness.
Every month our new team members get to experience
our culture first hand with their own random acts of
kindness. It has become a beloved tradition at Arrowhead.

Reality CheckWe are passionate about financial education.
This year, we developed a game to teach teens
about credit scores, budgeting, and the importance
of saving.
Their parents noted that not a single teen was on their
phone for the entire two hours. Success.
