The Resort at Paws Up features the largest private equestrian center in Montana: the Saddle Club, with a 29,000-square-foot riding arena and 52 stalls. Inside, guests take instruction under the keen eye of our horse trainers in private lessons, group rides, horse-care demonstrations and the Junior Wrangler Program.

The Saddle Club is home to Horsepower: Where Mustangs and Mindfulness Coexist for groups who want to learn more about our mustang rescue program. The heated arena also plays host to a variety of winter cattle-working options for guests who want to get the full ranch experience in an indoor setting, and the Saddle Club’s barn is the perfect venue for large family gatherings or group dinner parties.

All Equestrian Adventures will originate at theWilderness Outpost, which is located at the endof Whoa Road (please refer to Village Map).

WILDERNESS OUTPOST

The Resort at Paws Up features the largest private equestrian center in Montana: the Saddle Club, with a 29,000-square-foot riding arena and 52 stalls. Inside, guests take instruction under the keen eye of our horse trainers in private lessons, group rides, horse-care demonstrations and the Junior Wrangler Program.

The Saddle Club is home to Horsepower: Where Mustangs and Mindfulness Coexist for groups who want to learn more about our mustang rescue program. The heated arena also plays host to a variety of winter cattle-working options for guests who want to get the full ranch experience in an indoor setting, and the Saddle Club’s barn is the perfect venue for large family gatherings or group dinner parties.

All Equestrian Adventures will originate at theWilderness Outpost, which is located at the endof Whoa Road (please refer to Village Map).

Adventure Schedules

All Equestrian Adventures are offered on a set schedule. For current schedules, please contact the Wilderness Outpost at 406-244-7351 or by using the Paws Up App.

NOTE: Weather restrictions may alter the adventure schedules and programs. All adventure durations are approximate and can vary based on conditions. If snow conditions inhibit Spring/Fall Equestrian Adventures, Winter Equestrian Adventures may be available.

Adventure Reservations

To make reservations, please contact the Wilderness Outpost. We recommend booking your adventures with as much advance notice as possible. Most adventures require a 24-hour advance booking. Due to high demand, many adventures quickly fill to capacity. We cannot guarantee availability.

Cancellations

All cancellations require 24-hour advance notice prior to adventure start time. All cancellations made within 24 hours, including “no shows,” will be charged full adventure price. If the activity center deems the weather is hazardous and must cancel, the guests will not be charged. Changes made to adventure reservations within 24 hours may result in a service charge.

Arrival and Departure Times

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled adventure start time. All adventures will depart no later than 10 minutes following scheduled start times.
