Newsletter 7 2017 Dear Parents and Community Members Excitement Mounts Arrangements for our “Matilda the Musical” excursion are complete. The children are very excited. Mrs Edwards and I will be accompanying the children and are also very excited. Last Friday, we began watching the film in preparation for the stage production. Thank goodness, Tayla was keeping an eye on the time as I became completely engrossed and had not noticed the time passing. While we are delighted to have parents accompanying us and are grateful for your assistance, please be aware that we are directly responsible for the children and they must follow our instructions. Please do not take your child away from the group unless absolutely necessary and definitely not without first speaking to a teacher. Uniform All children must be in school uniform with closed shoes and socks. It is probably a good idea to bring a jumper for the bus as the air conditioning may be cool. Hats will be taken from school. Bring Small backpack Quiet games Morning tea in disposable container. Lunch in disposable container Healthy snacks – non messy fruit, cheese and crackers, yoghurt all in disposable containers. Water – no soft drinks, cordials, juices Please DO NOT send lollies, chips etc as they may cause stomach upsets on the bus! Yuk! Please DO NOT send money for souvenirs, icecreams. Children will be kept together at all times and not have an opportunity to spend it. Evening Meal We will be stopping at the Cunderdin Pub for dinner. Hopefully, everyone has returned their order form to school. Today, Tuesday, was the last day for orders.

Dear Parents and Community Members

Excitement Mounts

Arrangements for our “Matilda the Musical” excursion are complete. The children are very excited.

Mrs Edwards and I will be accompanying the children and are also very excited.

Last Friday, we began watching the film in preparation for the stage production. Thank goodness,

Tayla was keeping an eye on the time as I became completely engrossed and had not noticed the time

passing.

Lyndy’s Absences

Voluntary Contributions

Your voluntary contributions assist the school in providing materials to improve your child’s learning

experiences. It would be fantastic if all contributions could be received during Term 1. Families may

choose to send in cash, a cheque or pay by direct deposit to our ANZ BSB 016710 ACCOUNT NUMBER

253884676. The amount that we have asked for this year is $40 per child.

Please make sure that you identify your deposit with your child’s name to ensure that we credit it

correctly.

Hi everyone, Boot camp for women is back in 2017!

Sessions are run by Carolyn Stephen who has been involved in the health and fitness industry for

over 30 years bringing a wide range of options for those that need an alternative.

Each week a different session will be run with varieties including boxing, weights and cardio sessions

using a variety of training aids and apparatus.

Where: Moorine Rock Tennis Club

When: Commencing Wednesday 1st March-26th April 2017 (stopping for seeding)

Time: 6.30pm start. Sessions usually go for 1 hour.

Cost: There are 8 sessions in this 9 week block as we are not able to use the facility

due to a pre-booking on Wednesday 29th March.

Full 8 weeks: Pay up front $ 75.00

Casual $12.00 per session

School Students: $5.00

What to bring: Water bottle. Mat and Foam roller if you have one, sense of humour

and a supportive bra Ladies travel from Southern Cross so car pooling is an

option.

Weekly gold coin donation to the Moorine Rock Tennis Club to go towards to cost of lights is appreciated.
